Ok I will keep this short and sweet, but as I sit here watching Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List I just saw an advertisement for The Rachel Zoe Project!

I do not think I can possibly explain my excitement about the return of this show - "That's Bananas!!"

I am Back

Alright ladies and gents I am finally back to the blogging world after three 12 hour shifts taking care of those babies. Anyways my life as been pretty uneventful - well I take that back and we will get to that information later. My get together with Meggie never happened due to my pure exhaustion from work and her incurable sickness. (PS Meg get better asap - sincerely your friend - ME)

Well even though I have been working for three days straight I totally had boy issues. I mean I feel like boys come in waves. Like I can go from having absolutely no one to all the sudden two at once. Hmm so weird and odd

The question I wonder about myself is do I go for the boy who is nothing but nice to me, but I really do not get that excited I don't know I kind of just view him as a friend at this moment. OR go for the boy that when he called and left a voicemail I was thrilled with excitement. Hmm who knows I am sure everything will pan out the way it is supposed to right - ohh goodness life is nuts

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Monday - I know it is the beginning of the week, but I love it because I have two days off - holla!

Sucker

So I made plans with my friend Meggie, but those fell through completely due to my own fault (sorry meg - but I love you!) I promise this Saturday I will make it up after work.

Well I went shopping today and definitely spent way too much money at Sephora. I don't know about you guys, but I am really not a make up person. But give me a facial cleanser, moisturizer, clay mask, pore minimizer, etc. etc. consider you caught me hook line and sinker. Well I went to Sephora looking ONLY for shampoo and conditioner. I quickly found my hair products then mistakenly ventured over to the face care area. BIG MISTAKE!

Being that I am 24 I am kind of like in the in between age of life for face care. Like I do have the occasional break out, but acne is not a huge concern. Secondly, I do not feel that I am at the stage in my life where wrinkles are a problem. Anyways, my nosey ears overheard the Sephora employee educating a fellow consumer about Kinerase's new Photofacial line.

Well consider me sold. It is supposed to help with sun damage. I feel like now is the time to work about preventing further damage to my skin. I wear sunscreen everyday (hence my rather fair/yellow skin tone - grrr) But I think that in starting this line I can help somewhat help my skin damage and prevent further. Who knows - the Sephora lady could have been selling me a whole bunch of bull, but I will let you know in 4-6 weeks. AHH

Anyways, thats enough about my Sephora adventure. My day was pretty uneventful personally, but my father on the other hand had an emergency root canal procedure today. Can we say painful! But he is tolerating it pretty well right now we will see what happens come tomorrow.

Alright off to bed I have to wake up early tomorrow for my workout then head to a baby shower for work! I am going to go catch up on my facebook and twitter pages ... I don't know about you all but twitter is my new vice!

P.S I really hope to figure out how to post pictures on this thing. I will have to chat it up with my friend Meggie on Saturday night! She is my wise and more experienced blogging friend!

Oops

Do you ever have one of those oops moments in life? Case in point - Went to the gym today my plan was to take it light and just walk on the treadmill at an incline for a while. It was rather early so most of the people around me in the gym were how do I say this politely - more mature than myself.

Anyways, while I was on the treadmill wedged between a man and a woman in their mid-70s and I tripped right over my on two feet while doing the treadmill at a 5.5 incline and speed of 3.5 -

The two people looked at me to insure I was alright. I picked myself and my humiliation off the ground and kept on trekking.

One word comes to mind - oops

Alright, so I feel like I did not properly introduce myself to the blog world. After working 12 hours today you would think I would be exhausted, but oh no I am wide eyed and bushy tailed at 10:50pm. Someone needs to stop me. Anyways, I feel I need to fill you people in on my life a little more.

I am currently a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU for short) in the New Orleans area. I have only been out of nursing school and a "real nurse" for a little bit over a year, but I am pretty sure I have made the proper career choice for my life.

In regards to my person life, I am single (hence my love for the bachelor/bachelorette - I have already declared my love for both Reid and Kiptyn and if they are the next bachelor ABC here I come haha). Given that I work in the NICU with plenty of other women there are plenty of set up opportunities. Now I am just waiting to find the right guy - hint hint ABC - subtlety is not one of my virtues .. whoops

I am one of two children and my sister is my best friend. We look nothing alike and I am alright with that because we are more alike personality wise than many people think, and that is way many important in my opinion.

I have three poodles and they are the loves of my life and my favorite show of all time is The Office. Michael Scott is my love and if I could marry Jim I would. Damn Pam for stealing my one true love haha. Anyways, I hope you feel some what more familiar with my life. I am sure over time I will get better with this blogging thing!

Where to begin ...

My friend Megan turned me on to this "blog world" about a year ago. I have been reading yall's blogs for the past year or so and I feel like over time I have come to know yall. Anyways,

I have decided to enter this crazy and exciting world. I may not be able to post

as frequently as your girls because to be honest my life is rather boring and uneventful - lame I know.

I am just a 24 year old living in new orleans, LA trying to find my place in this crazy world we live in. Hopefully I will be able to document my life events through this process.
